Montpellier MINH59FZ 59cm Flex Induction Hob

Montpellier MINH59FZ 59cm Flex Induction Hob

Montpellier 59cm Induction, Touch Control, Flex Zone Hob with a 2 Year Guarantee.

Introducing Flex Zone

Seamlessly connect two cooking zones together with the touch of a button, to create one large cooking area for those times when one zone doesn’t quite cover it.

Dimensions

H62 x W590 x D520mm

Induction Technology

Using induction technology, the pan* is heated directly, rather than heating the cooking surface, which isn’t as efficient. This is how it is able to heat up quicker than a ceramic hob. There is also little residual heat from the cooking surface which means spills can be quickly wiped up after cooking.

*The pan must have a high iron content due to induction working on magnetism.

Power

  • Zone 1 2400/2600W
  • Zone 2 1800/2000W
  • Zone 3 1400/1500W
  • Zone 4 1800/2000W
  • Flex Zone 3000/3600W

Fitted Cable.

Timer

The 99 Minute Timer can be used in 2 different ways. As a Minute Minder, in this case the timer will not turn any cooking zone off following the allotted time. Or as an Individual Zone timer – set durations to turn one or more of the cooking zones off, allowing extra time for other tasks.

Front Touch Controls

No need to apply pressure, simply use the ball of the finger. The absence of buttons, makes wiping clean very straight forward.

Boost

Touching the boost control button ‘B’ , which can be used on any of the 4 cooking zones, will increase the heat to maximum. This function will return to the original heat setting after 5 minutes, unless manually turned off.

Safety

Control Panel Lock – prevent unintended use (e.g. children accidentally turning the cooking zones on).

Heat Indicator Light – hot hob warning light.

Another safety feature of the hob is automatic shutdown. This occurs when a cooking zone is left on for an extended period of time. The higher the temperature the quicker the appliance will power off (see manual for more details).
