Important Product Safety Notice regarding the Montpellier MSD2800W Spin Dryer
As a result of continued product testing, our safety team has identified a potential safety risk with our MSD2800W Spin Dryer. Some units have a potentially faulty component which means that the drum can continue to spin for a short period of time after the lid has been opened.
Customers are advised to immediately stop using this appliance.
We would like to firstly apologise for any worry and inconvenience that this may cause and to reassure our customers that we are acting as quickly as possible to provide a solution to all affected dryers.
All customers who purchased their appliance before 5 October 2021 are being contacted and informed about the issue. We will arrange a collection of the appliance for testing and upgrading of the affected component if required. The serviced unit will then be couriered back to you and clearly marked with a Label F7662 to confirm that it has passed inspection and is safe to use. The process will take about 3-5 working days from the date that it is collected by the courier to return.

How to identify If you need to call
On the rear of the appliance, you will find a silver rating label. The label has a 4-digit reference number which will identify if you need to book the service call (highlighted in red box)
