1. Pierce a lid from an empty plastic drinks bottle.
2. Fill that bottle up with water and screw the lid back on.
3. Put that bottle of water upside down in your plant pot.

The water will slowly leak out into the pot keeping your plants hydrated, and when you return home you will be welcomed by healthy plants.
